I'm sure it's been covered but I could not find it anywhere :p If I have a Lash Sorc attached to a CSM squad with Flamers, can I Lash a unit closer to me then check my flamer templates, or do I check my flamer templates then lash?
All shooting is done simultaneously. So, you'd check the templates, then Lash.

Best you can do is move the sorceror/DP away from the unit (detach) during the move phase. During the shooting phase, lash the unit into your flamers, at which point you get to measure after the lash.
