Do the Word Bearers regularly participate in the Black Crusades led by Abaddon??

also, are there any notable excursions from the Maelstrom from them??

A VAN DOWN BY THE RIVER!

I would imagine so, they're probably among the most hate-filled Chaos Marines.

yea they pretty much took the "the emperor is a false god and you guys suck" teachings and really ran with it I mean they are the only ones in chaos that has chaplains for god sakes. So IMO any chance to try and prove they are right and the Imperium is wrong... prolly going to take it

I don't know about regularly.

Sure, there might be a few sects of Word Bearers that would follow Abaddon, but for the most part I'd like to think they do their own thing.

The Word Bearers are pretty extremist, even for The Black Legion's standards.

Yeh I'm not completely sure but I imagine like most chaos legions and marines in general thay aren't quick to accept rule from another one.

Lorgar turned to chaos before horus, Erebus of the word bearers converted horus and the word bearers set in motion the events on Davin which led to the horus' treachery. They obviously acknowledged the Luna Wolves and Horus' superiority in that they tried to turn him but that doesn't mean it follows on after Horus' death.
