Alright, so my friend is going to start up his model when our order from Guerilla Tactics shows up (hopefully next week). He is planning on painting them metallic blue. The idea is metallic blue with some silver/metal trim areas, and green glowy eyes to match the green tubing on their guns. I just need suggestions for the colors (mostly mixing a dark metallic blue) and green to go with it, and the washes he would need to do. It's not going to be an overly elaborate scheme, just a nice table top look. I personally use Vallejo, but the place we are ordering from only carries GW paints.

There's a shiny Cron in the codex that was painted by the Eavy Metal team using a 50/50 mix of Regal Blue and Boltgun Metal. I really liked the effect. Maybe you could try it!

To what Chrispy and corpses said.

The Silver+Wash will do almost the exact same thing as the metal+blue and be a lot easier and faster for your friend.

Hope to see some pics when you and your friend get your models!
