Busy somewhere, airin' out the skin jobs.

Yesterday morning (I'm on night shifts right now) I watched "American Ninja" while painting. Wow, that movie was bad, I loved it when I was a kid though.

I think today after I get off in the next 10 min I'll be watching "Revenge of the Ninja" to continue some chop saki nonsense.

I was all about ninja movies in Junior High and High school...back when pirates werent even on the scene and the Ninja craze was at it peak.

I have never failed to seize on 4+ in my life!

Heh, and before ninjas there were barbarians, and that's where you behold the glory of Conan and the also ran of Ator.

“We may observe that the government in a civilized country is much more expensive than in a barbarous one; and when we say that one government is more expensive than another, it is the same as if we said that that one country is farther advanced in improvement than another. To say that the government is expensive and the people not oppressed is to say that the people are rich.”

I love Jacob's Ladder. Unholy passion there...

I think the only Early 90's or Earlier movie I've watched lately is Labyrinth.

Just remember folks. Panic. Panic all the time. It's the only way to survive, other than just being mindful, of course-but geez, that's so friggin' boring. - Aegis Grimm

I just watched an early 80's flick, "Uncommon Valor". Interesting concept - a bunch of 'nam veterans going back to rescue so POWs, but it was so incredibly 80's-cheesy.

I'm watching The Longest Day, a decent 1962 D-Day movie with John Wayne.

The list of famous actors from Hollywood in Europe from that movie would make a pretty long list.

Uh, lets see. Yesterday I watched Lawrence of Arabia, also 1962.

Amidst the mists and coldest frosts he thrusts his fists against the posts and still insists he sees the ghosts.

watched JCVD's @Blood Sport' the other night - fight scenes are as amazing as I remember but the acting was worse! some really cringe worthy bits (but i'd still watch it again!)

Also I've started taking photos to use as reference for weathering which can be found here. Please send me your photos so they can be found all in one place!!

The idea is that it takes extra effort and time to write properly, and they’d rather save the time. If you can still be understood, what’s the harm? While most of the time a sloppy post CAN be understood, the use of proper grammar, punctuation, and spelling is generally seen as respectable and desirable on most forums. It demonstrates an effort made to be understood, and to make your post an easy and pleasant read. By making this effort, you can often elicit more positive responses from the community, and instantly mark yourself as someone worth talking to.

I just watched "Near Dark" again. Still a cool movie.
Vampire hicks in a winebago go terrorising the 'breadbasket' (I think it's set in Nebraska, but I could be wrong). Made a few months after several of the actors had finished working on ALIENS (Bill Paxton, Jennette Goldstein and Lance Henrickson). Also had a young Adrian Pasdar (Now in Heroes) in it.

When those three Aliens alumni got back together to do their commentary for the DVD release of ALIENS, they spent a fair bit of time reminiscing about THIS movie instead.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

That is not dead which can eternal lie ...

... and yet, with strange aeons, even death may die.

Me too, I got a projector and full home cinema set up recently, and the climax of Last of the Mohicans was one of the first things I tested out.

I dont have cable at work so I watch a lot of movies. I normally watch TV series as they last longer and are more background noise for the $, but lately I went through and grabbed some older DVDs and took them to work.

Live your life that the fear of death can never enter your heart. Trouble no one about his religion. Respect others in their views and demand that they respect yours. Love your life, perfect your life. Beautify all things in your life. Seek to make your life long and of service to your people. When your time comes to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song, and die like a hero going home.

Still the greatest B horror movie ever made!

Other than that, I watch Big Trouble In Little China at least once a month while I paint.
