Pretty cookie-cutter list, and I'm hoping it's good enough for a tournement at my FLGS, the tactics are pretty basic, infiltrate the scouts onto/around an objective, then back them up with the bikes, terminators, and a rhino mounted tac squad. The bikers are included for their teleport homers, which combined with their scouts move can help my deathwing assualting terminators that count as troops get onto an objective by turn two. The tac squads are obviously included to hold objectives, the devastators for anti-tank, and the predator for some anti-mob. Im not sure about the dreadnought, I have a forgeworld auto cannon arm, which would be nice for anti-elite infantry or light tank, but I also have an assault cannon and multi melta arm. Thank you for any comments and critiques.

Ok, as a long-time Dark Angels proponent, there is nothing about this list that would make me want to play it as Dark Angels over Green Marines. You army basically looks like the starter box with a few extras thrown in.

If you want to go Dark Angels, you need to focus on the stuff that we still get an advantage over Smurfs. Dark Angels get Termies as Troops, 5 man squads with special weapons in cheapish Razorbacks, an AV 14 Landspeeder, and that's about it.

I like Belial and the Termie squad (but give them a heavy weapon, the DA sprue comes with an assault cannon) but the rest needs to be revamped to either be mechanized or termie heavy.

If you play this EXACT same list out of the Vanilla codex, the only thing you've got are scouting bikers with homers and BS4 scouts.

Vanillas take:

HQ

Captain with Lightning Claws/Terminator armour

ELITE

Terminators (5)
Dreadnought same as above

TROOPS

Same tacticals
Scouts with Snipers and Missle (5)

FAST ATTACK

Bikers (no homer, but 2xMelta...your guided missles for tank busting, your terminators would've been without support anyway if you Deepstruck them too far.) If you still want homers make them scout bikers and pay even LESS points.

HEAVY
Same Devs
Same Pred.

Leaves you with 75 pts to spend. Sounds fair huh?
