Hello, I've started this mostly to get me motivated to actually come home from work and get it done.

I'm creating a small daemonhunters/imperial guard force. I won't be buying any more minis as I've got loads I need to paint. This is also part of Operation Holy Hell Paint My Three Forgeworld Valkyries Before The Friggin Plastic Ones Come Out or OHHPMTFVBTFPOCO for short.

List of Minis is 3 FW Valkyries, 2 Chimeras + 20 Imperial Guard. 2x10 StormTroopers and Inquisitor and Retinue. Also have some half done Grey Knights and a Baneblade which aren't a priority at the moment.

I'll also say I'm aware of the IG Codex release and the rumoured Inquisitorial Updates and such but as I say I'm painting and building what I've already got so its no loss to me.

So far I have completed, 1 Valkyrie and am 90% through a Chimera. Pic below


Plans for the next 2 weeks are the other 2 Valkyries. C&C, suggestions and ideas welcome!

Excellent Valkyrie. Really liking the lengths you´ve gone to with the weathering. I´d like some bigger pics though, so i can really check it out.

I´m really looking forward to the plastic valk´s but yeah I can see how having three FW ones unpainted suddenly is an issue.. :S

I've got some larger pics here, these were at a work in progress stage, but it was 90% done so you can pretty much get the picture, I just tidied it up and did the landing skids after that photo.

Looks really good man, the markings also make a huge difference for a bird like this. are the numbers decals or freehand?

(I´m looking for tiny numbers and letters in decal form, so if they are, i´d like pointers to where they´re from...)

The blackening around the engines is ace, looks very authentic.

Thanks, the nose art, stripes and numbers are freehand, the little skull kill markings and the |||||| kill lines are decals from the IG Tank sheet.

Like it very much keep up the work can't wait to see more.

Ive been too busy to do these, picked them back up again this week after picking the new IG Codex up. Ill do more updates this time!

I think I'll sack off the daemonhunters title from the first post aswell seeing as the new IG Codex is out now anyway

Figured I'd post these up. They're pretty much there, Need tidying up and some detailing but they're getting there. I know they're not great but I've got around 80 to do and I don't get alot of time.
