I have seen the new amazin plastic stompa, but when it comes out i don't want to field it as a normal stompa and i was wondering if anyone
has any ideas how to change it. one of the main problems is the chainsaw arm.

please any ideas welcome.
Thx in advance

use card stock to make taller legs, and use card stock to make the belly bigger.

ok that will make it bigger, which i admit meks seem to like big mekanical things but its really that chainsaw arm that a need to convert to a lifta-dropa.
any ideas mate, iam really having a hard time, the only thing i can think of is using to graba-claws from the battlewagon set and change the chainsaw for these.
But they seem a little too small compared to the model

I'll be looking at magnetising my stompa arms so it can play as any of the 3 variants. So I'll probably build an entirely new lifta-droppa arm.

Shouldn't be that difficult, a mounting a bit like the gun arm, then lots of electrical-looking bits and cables powering a lifta-droppa 'ray gun' at the end - looks like the kit's exhaust system includes a cone shape suitable for the central electrode thingy. The electic fence bits from the Macragge set will also be handy.

I'll be converting the basic body shape too - i definitely don't want a stompa just like everyone else's. But I'll wait until I see the actual kit pieces before I work out how to do that

Same here i need to buy the kit before deciding wat i am goin to do about the body, thinking of having a opening flap that can fit a vechile or something,
as i collect speed freaks.
I have the elecrical fence from macragge so i might try to place them somewere but i think i goin to have to use then on the shoulders as in an apocolypse battle my big mek stompa will be carring a kustom force field.
This will be magnatised so if i don't field enough walkers i can still have it

I would think about cutting off the close combat weapon where is exits the housing and magnetizing the stump to take the chainsword, a lifta droppa, or another claw. I'd also add a magnet in one of the eye sockets for a Gaze of Mork.

It's a orky traktor beam, it could look like anything. If you go for the traditional GW lifta droppa look, as per p131 of the Apocalypse book or the old Epic ork models, then you'll get less puzzled looks, which is a good isea - but really it should just like some big grunty electical beam thingy, and not too much like a gun

This model from Inquisitor has some great claws that could be used as a liffta-droppa.

You could always start with the grabber claw from the battlewagon set.

why not try to use th claws from the defiler kit.
Because you have 2, you can fit them 2gether to get one huge claw.

That also sounds good and my friend has a deflier so when the stompa comes out i might have a look and see which sort of claws fit better.
