Hey Folks...

I'm sitting here cutting out primed bits from the box of Ork Nobs (the new plastic ones) and a recurring question is something I've got to ask. What's with the shoulder pads?

In my box of 5 Nobs, I should at most need 10 shoulder pads. This box gives me 24 shoulder pads. I have a compartment in my bits box dedicated to shoulder pads. What gives? Why so many? Where else can I use them in my Ork Army?

Some are neck pads and arm pads. The thin one fit over the top of the neck and the ones that are almost the same size as the shoulder pads are for the arms, layed across the bicep.

They're great for covering up ugly shoulder/arm cuts after conversions. And if you want to make some 'Ard Boys, they're ideal for making quick armour.

But otherwise just use them one at a time for a bit of visual variety on boyz and Nobz

Bitz aren't a bad thing...but I'm always short on certain things, and those things aren't shoulderpads. If I could melt all my shoulderpads into plastic and mold them into more feet and torsos, I'd be all about it.

That's what I always have the least of. I have dozens and dozens of extra choppas, some extra sluggas, a whole compartment of extra heads, and a wide variety of other strange things.
