Im planning to make an ork warboss by covering and existing model with green stuff to make him an ork or a bigger ork and im planning on using a LOTR isengard troll. Should i use another model as the base for a better outcome?

I agree. Simply because Ive seen the LOTR troll converted and altho it looks cool, the basterds are simply just HUGE. All the true line of sight rules and cover aside, it looks a tad odd being so big
I forget who converted (I think) a Warmachine model into a huge Ork Warboss. The general consensus was that it was big enough to be counted as a Killa Kan.
