can a flier (represented by x's) go on its bombing run and tarket squads 1 2 and 3 with its bombs or just one of them? more simply can a flier attack multiple squads?

No*. Flyers, per Apoc, don't have the ability to engage multiple targets; they have to target a single unit.

*Unless it is a superheavy flyer.

Try using code tags when making those sorts of diagrams. That'll at least mostly preseve the layout, though you might have to modify it a bit to get it right.



To answer your question, assuming you're talking about Apoc flyers then you can only drop bombs on one area. Normal bombs just increase the number of dice you roll when determining which part of the Apoc Barrage marker gets hit; so if you drop three bombs, you place the marker over any one point between your starting and ending points and roll three dice as per the Apoc Barrage rules on p97.

It doesn't look like this is affects the rest of the flyer's shooting at all, so it should be free to shoot at another target if you want, but all other weapons on a non-superheavy flyer must be targetted at the same unit.
