Hey, I saw a post awhile ago of a link to a site that sold miniature basecoat materials online. I looked back a couple of pages in the forum but I couldn't find it, if anyone has some links to good ones that ship I would appreciate it! C14.99 is too much for the GW foundation spray.
thanks
Karm

Nuclear: Properly pronounced new-clear, not new-cue-lir. There is no 'u' between the c and l, so stop saying it because it just makes you sound like a dumbass. This includes nucleolus, and all other derivatives of the word.

Do you mean primer (undercoat?)
Basecoat is your basic colour, could be a primer paint or could be another colour put on top of primer.
Check out http://www.plasti-kote.com/plastikote/splash/index.jsp for a range of primers and colour sprays.

I used Gray automotive primer now that GW is trying to rape us with the price of their primer. You can also get the auto primer in a charcoal gray (almost black). I like htese as they make the details pop and are easier to see when painting. also auto primer is like 50 cents more than spray paint and will coat thinner and more evenly I do not reccomend the use of spraypaint.

It's pricer but if you want colored primers, the Army Painter stuff is really really good. I've used their bone spray and blood red spray and it's worked really good, saves a whole lot of time. I haven't tried their shades though, but I probably will use that when I paint my leviathan.
