Yes Dave, I see all sorts of re-work that can be done to that chassis, I could add a tread system, a new turrets style(I drew plans for a scout tank using an off center weapon) and it would be a big ride, but looks quite comfy especially for Ogryns.

Yeah, the Rhinos and other vehicles of the Marines at least are off scale, Lanraider should be more 8.5" by 11"

As for ugly kids....I love my son, and I am glad he's growing into his looks, but when he was born he looked like Walter kronkite. A lot was du to him and his sister kicking away at each other in the womb, but he was not a pretty child. Now though he gets so many compliments on his looks, where before people would gasp and then say "....oh want an adorable baby" with that insincere voice.

well my first son was always mistaken for a girl...i guess that must have meant he was good looking

but well if i would have gotten such reactions towards my sons...i guess i would have fully explored my violent side

also...twins are always a bit more looking like churchil due to them haveing to live in confined place...once they have room to stretch all is fine!

I can definitely see you working that vehicle to be Dave style! I have to echo the more Rivets comments as that is what it needs for sure! urban camo arbites transport from hell! :-) and that mug is so totally cool that now 'OMG' means 'Oh MUG God'

Not sure if Dave was intending on keeping the chassis or not. I may have to see if the sets are in my local area as well. BUT they best be a buck or two only. If Dave was offering me the carcasses after taking the turrets and tyres well,,,,,shucks!

They were $8.00 a set here in Missouri. But on the web page they had a coupon for $5.00 off a $30.00 purchase. I wish I had used it, now I'm thinking one of the lavs for an arbites command vehicle, and three of the jeeps to use as rhino carriers.

Yeah, the sets are $8 normal price. I really got that set for the missile launcher. Oh and the 1/72 scale F-16 is actually better than most Revell model kits, it has engraved panel lines! It also has cool working landing gear, but when they are down, the jet is back heavy, making the nose point up as if taking off. AND the scale is off like already mentioned. If I were a kid, these jets would immediately go into my "outdoors for playing in the dirt" bucket, because they seem really indestructible.

Shas, if you want it, you can have the whole LAV. You'll have to break the glue bonds on the axle/wheels though to get to the screws, and the wheels need a serious date with a belt-sander as they have a nasty mold-line.

that sounds like hell for toys if I remember right from back in the days ...

when i was a lil kid I used to hammer matchbox cars so hard against our balcony walls to have cars that look actually like car accidents... back then you couldn´t just buy cars all vintage looking you had to do it yourself

yes, everything in that bucket would eventually end up buried or destroyed by fireworks. In 40K terms, they were "serving the Emperor"

also... an all yellow kitchen can be a bit hurtful to the unprotected eye... especially at the early morning breakfast just before work/school
