@nose goblin while your popping in any progress on the 15mm capacitor coolers and excaliburs? Would be nice to hear they are on the move before Chinese New Year gets in the way.

Looks good mark, only thing I would change/add would be a subcategory for the 15mm leviathans. Once the weapons come out o he mini I could see some people accidentally getting the wrong things because they o just by the picture.

Just waiting on confirmation. Last I heard, everything has been run and is ready to go. Just waiting on WGF US to get the web request online.

Any resemblance of this post to written English is purely coincidental.

Is the Dreamforge forum gone, down, or am I just missing the new location?

The test sprues for 15mm Mortis and APC from the update looked good! <3 DFG/WGF plastic.

At first I thought he was pulling our leg with the 15mm Mortis pics, trying to pass the bigger one off for it. I bought the larger one a week ago and the spruces look just as good as the larger spruces. Well done as usual mark.

Spoiler:

WFG China sent over some pics (T1 shots) of some molds for the Stage 3 items.

T1 means that these are the first test shots to roll off the press, so there will still be some tweaking that needs to be done to ensure proper mold fill and flash removal. Things like light and heavy surface textures still need to be applied to take the shine off the component and to add texture to the items such as the top of the APC where there are anti-slip pads for the infantry that walk on the top of the hull.

The Leviathan Mortis 15mm Scale has been completed.

The 15mm scale Left hand Vulkan has been completed.

The interior and top section (including roof gun) for the base APC has been completed.

Everything ells has not hit T1 yet, but I will post pics when they do.

Spruces came up because I'm at work on my cell, my iPad is fixed for gaming gargon. (Also these mOdels make me happy) Don't get to excited by the ban okay renders, those are just the test pieces. Mark said there's more work to be done on them like texturing the roof. I'd copy and paste the email but my phone sucks at that. Maybe in the morning.

Still, that sprue shows they are working on the Hanomags, so I am happy as I need more transports!

I like the overall look of the APCs but the sprues seem rather spaced out/empty. It seems like they could have either increased the part density to save themselves some money or increase the extra included bits for the benefit of customers. Either way, I'm sure the final build will look quite nice judging from the Knight Titans produced so far.

remember the 'stuff' on a sprue the longer the milling time needed to create it where most of the costs are (and I suspect the longer the time needed to optimise it for casting)

I'm sure Mark could have designed more stuff to squeeze on there, but the extra time may have been to expensive (or the 'slot' available too short)

(or maybe there is more to come, as there's space on the tool stuff can be added to it)

Well, only 9 are the basic APC, I'm also getting 3 each of the two variants.
Also, Wargames Factory is having a Black Friday sale on all their stuff, including Dreamforge! Just ordered me three of the 15mm Leviathans, as I skipped them during the KS.

That's a general problem with a lot of webbased shops, thay don't seem to realize how much people the put off/orders they loose by having monstrous shipping prices.
And I don't want to get into a huge discussion - but there are several shops out there which ships cheep all over the world, or even free.

Websellers are well aware of how much people dislike paying for shipping. Stores that ship free or at small flat rates do so at the expense of margin (because if your customer isn't paying the full cost of shipping, it still has to come from somewhere)... and tend to not last for the long haul.

I've never really understood why so many people think that shipping being higher than the price of the item is a sign of something being wrong... International shipping is dependant entirely on the size and weight of the item, not how much it costs. A bowling ball is going to cost the same to ship whether the store charges $100 or $1 for it.

Just factor the shipping into the actual price of the item, and move on.

Of course, if free or cheap shipping creates enough turnover that it works out profitable for them, they're golden.

Unfortunately the US is not a great place to buy from if you're overseas any longer, and rumours are it's about to get worse again in Jan.

The UK seems to be the go-to place for international shopping, as they tend to utilise the 20% VAT aspect to it's most favourable degree.
