Building an Adeptus Mechanicus army based off the dual lash 1500 list. First 5 guys are under the brush and all the bits needed for the rest of the conversions are ordered and OTW. As it stands, here is the 1500 pt version.

Daemon Prince + Wings + MoS + Lash
Daemon Prince + Wings + MoS + Lash

7 PM + 2 Melta + Champ + PF + Rhino
7 PM + 2 Melta + Champ + PF + Rhino
6 PM + 2 Flamer + Champ + PF + Rhino

3 Oblits
3 Oblits

Brings me to 1495. So, how should I expand on this list using 355 points? Vindicators? Terminators? Thousands Sons? More Oblits and Plague Marines? Please bear in mind that whatever the suggestion, I'll have to convert it to Adeptus Mechanicus... (So 355 points of Spawn would suck.... both tacticly and modelingwise...)

Thanks in advance.

You have a pretty solid core. You could add pretty much anything you like and still have a competitive army.

Upgrade the 3rd PM squad to 7 and upgrade to meltaguns. 33 points.

Defilers & dreadnoughts would provide you with a lot of great modeling opportunities.

The most competitive would be another plague marine squad and oblit.

I'd say use 250 of it to bump each PM squad up to 10 and give the flamer squad meltas. Break the Oblits into three squads of twos. Better for picking your shots at different targets. The next 100 can be used on pretty much anything. A Dread would be pretty cool but it probably won't be very good. If you do decide to run one make it 100 pts with a DCCW and a Missile Launcher. So if it goes crazy it will be less likely to pop your own tanks but still be effective at range. After that you have 10 points. Maybe put it somewhere on the Dread if you decide to do it.

Well, I'd add a fully kitted out Terminator squad to counter all those SM Terminator spam lists.

Bulk out the PM squads to 10.

I'd say keep the squad with Flamers. You will need them with the number of models an Ork player can bring at 1850.

I am also a fan of combi-weapons on ACs.

I'd say, use whatever's left to find some sort of anti-horde. 2 Flamers and 6 Oblits aren't going to cut it against 150+ boyz, and while FnP may help against the regular boyz in CC, the PK nobs are going to be eating 2-3 Plague Marines a turn.

Bellus bellum gratia.

Add oblits, add a Termicide or 2.

3 Terms, 3 Combis 105

I'd add a Defiler and more Plaugue Marines.

Hummm, lots of tasty ideas. I'd rather not "switch" weapons out from the core list, as that would mean converting a model to replace one. I do like the idea of a Defiler and extra PM's. Could fit 8 more with a basic Defiler (was thinking taking it with all CCW's... 5 attacks base) But then started playing around with the points of a Terminator group. For 350 Pts, I could drop 10 Chaos Terminators, with Mark of Nurgle, and two Heavy Flamers. (Plus already dreaming of cool conversions to do it... thinking Heavy Combat servitors. Ogre Kingdom Bulls mmmmm. Maybe. I guess I have to flesh out how to make Chaos Terminators "count as" something Adeptus Mechanicus. Any Ideas?

Make them into big, nasty guard drones or something. I think the Termies are a solid idea and/or bulking up the PMs. A few more Oblits never hurts, either.

I can see why you asked for help. So many options!
