Are these guys compatible with GW's Thunder Hammer & Storm shield bitz pack? Thinking of ordering AoBR and trying to decide whether to e-bay the marines or turn them into the second coming of my Salamanders

I just looked at my AoBR Termies (still on the sprues) and they have small pegs on their flat sided shoulders for the arms to pop onto. The arm joints are flat with a matching hole for the peg to fit into for alignment.

It would only take a second with an Xacto knife to cut off the peg, assuming the bitz pack metal arms are flat where they attach to the shoulder.

...so yeah, they should be compatible as far as I can tell.

Der iz no such 'ting as shooty Orks or slugga Orks! ONLY "ARD ORKS!!!

All plastic, all the time. Much easier than the old days.

OLD MAN ULTRAMARINES' BASEMENT

Very compatible, and I beleive it is cheaper to do AoBR and bitz order/trade for the Lightning claws/S.S/T.H. Check 'teachermickeymouse' on ebay for AoBR or message OldmanUltramarine for AoBR stuff! he has it all!

@the random007 You sir, have earned a cookie.

AoBR Termies are very much compatible with TH/SS, LC's. I suggest clipping nubs off termies and magnetizing arms. Bit ordering some arms and having options. Any version all day = win.

Is the GW bitz pack plastic or metal? If they're metal then they're 2nd edition and will be a bit small.

The ones I saw on the Warstore looked metal to me.

I also think that the bitz pack ones are sized for power armor not terminator armor. Check the shoulder pad areas.

I've wondered that myself, they look like they're for power-armored Marines to me.

The bitz pack are from the old metal termies. The AoBR termies work perfect with the plastic arms from the regular set.
