Dear Kid,

This week we're excited to announce TWO new hard plastic sets have released! Also some "other" news! ;-)

Thanks again for all the excitement, all the emails, and all the support you've given in helping us launch Wargames Factory. We truly appreciate it!

All the best,
The Wargames Factory Team

This 32 figure box set includes 10 sprues that let you create slingers, javelinmen, swordmen, leaders, musicians, and standard bearers with loads of extras!

Available right here!

We're so excited to bring you the Zombie Horde! This was our very first submission to the Liberty and Union League to break the 1000-sprue barrier! We started designing the figures in mid-December, listened to your feedback, tweaked and added, and then went into tooling in late January! Out now! Click here.

If you would like to buy by the sprue - click here.

Each sprue features 6 multi-part Zombies with extra heads and arms for massive customization! Start your own personal Zombie Apocalypse now!

The Liberty and Union League continues to take on a life of it's own! Several sets are close to or have just crossed the finish line and we have sculptors busy working away on them!

We've just updated the lists as well (The Hit List, The Bullet List, and The Bucket List) for you to keep track of the highlights of the LUL -- see them here!

The forums continue to grow at a rapid pace with new members daily along with all sorts of great discussions on upcoming sets, Liberty and Union League suggestions, and more!

Get in on the discussion here: Wargames Factory Forums!

Now that the Celt Warband is out, it's time for more Field of Glory hard plastic sets! We have THREE in final tooling right now and hope to show some test shots next week. All three of these sets will release in March!

We got a jump on the Liberty and Union League and started early (I mean, who doubted they wouldn't go "all the way"?)

Click here to see what they are!

(And the better news? Three more sets just went into tooling!)

Interesting. Has anyone ordered from these guys already? How's their service?

I'm sorry, I didn't know GW has copyright on soldiers in trenchcoats.

So long as they leave off all the usual skulls and Imperial eagles, they'll be fine. Hopefully their rifles with be in a bullpup configuration, so that extra sci-fi tech-y goodness.

Yeah, everyone knows GW invented soldiers in trench coats.

I had forgotten that, but after a brief stay in the Ministry of GW Love, my memory of history has improved significantly.

I get confused between this company and the other plastics company. Is this the one
that has taken over a year to release plastic celts? I didn't have them on preorder, but
a friend did and I'm not sure.

No, I just think skinheads and terminal people should be ashamed for viciously violating GW's intellectual property.

OK kwik guide (I get them confused too)

Wargames Factory - American company, Romans, Celts, Zulus and Colonial Brits, Liberty Unions to suggest new products, took a year to get their @#$% together and ship products.
http://www.wargamesfactory.com/

Warlord games - British company, Romans, Celts, Paul Sawer, also makes some metal stuff.

Looks like it could be great for some conversions....if we had some PICTURES!!!!!!

I had a real hard time convincing any customer to buy the WGF models once they finally came out. We had 6 of each box come in, of the romans and colonials. The plastic wasn't the best, and the detail was lacking. We eventually dumped them at half off.

The plastics from Warlord and Perry Brothers came out much better, and are selling steadily.

Hopefully WGF learned from the first two offerings and is improving.

My 2 cents, YMMV.

....and lo!.....The Age of Sigmar came to an end when Saint Veetock and his hamster legions smote the false Sigmar and destroyed the bubbleverse and lead the true believers back to the Old World.

You know, that "pre-order sight unseen" system could be a real money maker. Assuming the quality is okay, this could be the way that the market could actually respond to consumer demand for, say, GREATCOATFREAKINGGUARD. Like we've been shouting all over the forums for a decade without being heard by most companies.

I just hope the execution is good and easily adaptable for conversions. At $5 a sprue, they'd sell really well.

Infinity: Way, way better than 40K and more affordable to boot!

I want to see a set of some spider centaurs with halberds and crossbows.

They'd be a whole lot like driders but they don't have pointed ears...

In theory.

I think their Celts are already showing signs of improvement, but WGF has to do even better than that if it wants to challenge Warlord, the Perrys and Victrix. Of course, this is all good news for the savvy consumer.

That being said, I like what they're doing here, and hopefully the Zombies will be adequate.

The supply does not get to make the demands.

Yeah. Those... don't look so hot. I see the same kind of soft detail and lumpy pieces that WFG's Romans were eviscerated for on the pages of Wargames Illustrated.

I would not buy these for any price.
