Hi does anybody know about the contnts of the imperial guard battleforce?
In particular the heavy weapons sprues that are in there? Is there enough options for 3 versions of each weapon? ie: 3 missile launcher teams? Or is there only one weapon for each?

Three complete Heavy Weapon Teams, 20 standard IG and a Leman Russ.

Don't get it!

Either save your money for the IG release in 3 months with the new Leman Russ cut/Leman Russ kit with "heavy" tank options for the new gun loadouts, or only get the regular 20-IG box as the new box will only contain 10 IG and a heavy weapon for what we're guessing is the same price.

Hate to break it to you but its no longer available. Well at least its no longer available on the GW website. Its still on there but listed as "No Longer Available" so I assume this means that you can't get it anywhere else either.

As don_mondo said, the set contains a Leman Russ, 20 Imperial Guardsmen, and 3 Heavy Weapon Teams. It also has some ruins.

In the Battleforce and Heavy Weapons squad boxes, there are enough heavy weapons sprues to make 3 of one weapon, yes.

There's no new Russ on the horizon, certainly not in May when this all comes out, so there's no reason not to get the BattleForce.

For the unimaginative, yes. Three Heavy Weapon teams can make you 12 Heavy Weapons if you know what you're doing. You can do 3 Lascannons, 3 Autocannons, 3 Heavy Bolters and 3 Missile Launchers out of a single box of 3 teams. All you need is spare crewmen and bases.

That IG Heavy Weapons platoon box was a real bargain. I've got 12 of each heavy weapon (4 boxes), and just place guardsmen with small bases on top of the large base with the weapon. Sweet.
