The pic is a little big... but this should be fun to look at, and I hope inspirational to those of you who are thinking about building a Titan.

I couldn't wait to show you all. The Automarine's Warlord Titan.

Its kind of a big pic... the skeletal frame is wood, with card over the wood. The next pic you shall see is full detail, then after that come base coat then painting. The represented weapons are (from top left) ApocMissileLauncher, Vulcan Heavy Bolter, VolcanoCannon, and MeltaCannon. I chose these weapons because I like them =). He stands 24 inches tall, exactly twice the size (+ a little) of the warhound, straight from the Apoc book. Ive been working on him for one month now, and he weighs in at 20ish pounds.

Looking good so far, and you get extra pats on the back for:

1) Making it the correct height and not 5 feet tall
2) Not having a giant torso with little spindly legs

Keep it up!

Today I didn't even have to use my hot-shot las; I gotta say it was a good day.

Titans are deffinatly things of beauty! Shame the GW/FW resin kits are just too overpriced!

Loving what you've done so far looking really cool, and a must scratchbuild project for any SM or Guard player.

More Pic's Please?

"But me no buts! Our comrades get hurt. Our friends die. Falkenburg is a knight who swore an oath to serve the church and to defend the weak. He'd be the first to tell you to stop puling and start planning. Because what we are doing-at risk to ourselves-is what we have sworn to do. The West relies on us. It is a risk we take with pride. It is an oath we honour. Even when some soft southern burgher mutters about us, we know the reason he sleeps soft and comfortable, why his wife is able to complain about the price of cabbages as her most serious problem and why his children dare to throw dung and yell "Knot" when we pass. It's because we are what we are. For all our faults we stand for law and light.

Sorry to bring up a dead post... but I have been away for a long time. The titan is actually green now, and I have added alot more textures. My friends want me to get some brass etchings for it. ...oh those are Land Raiders at its feet.

My only problem is how "blocky" the overall frame is. The legs need more movement and make it so they are bent, this isn't some cheesy robot from the 60's now is it?

And you never have to worry about it breaking because in soviet russia titan break floor. Sorry couldn't resist but in all seriousness you will never have to worry about it breaking if it's made of wood like the feet.

Since we have yet to get an answer as to why the Devilfish was on the floor, I'll take a different approach.

Pose is kinda static, and I would've given it bigger arm guns, but overall it looks pretty good. Nice work!
