So I'm in need of some juridic acumen Does anyone see any reason why a squad of Nob Bikerz could not take a Battle Wagon as a dedicated transport? I totally agree that Bikerz can't embark on the Battlewagon but, as far as I can tell from the rule book and the Ork codex, this does not prevent them from taking a Battlewagon as a dedicated transport. I agree that this is total hacks but I can see no reason why Nob Bikerz couldn't take a Battlewagon as a dedicated transport. But again, to be clear, they could not embark on it.

So you're basically able to take a battlewagon if you field nob bikers and it doesn't count towards your heavy allotment?

Nob Bikers can not take a Battlewagon as a dedicated transport. In the description for Nobs in the back it says: "Nobz Mobs (except Nob Bikers) may take a Trukk as a dedicated transport vehicle. Alternatively they may take a Battlewagon as a dedicated trasport ..." So you have 3 options with Nobz a dedicated Trukk, a dedicated Battlewagon or Warbikes.

Nobz on Bikes cannot then Buy a Battlewagon, and Nobs with a Battlewagon cannot take bikes. Teef only grow so fast!

On reflection I agree with Nox; no battlewagon with bikes.

Eh not really. Use it to Deff Roll units without taking a heavy slot.

BUt as stated, that is wishing cause its not allowed by RAW.

It would be kinda cool though to see a massive battlewagon barrel up through the front lines - deffrolla sending space marines flying into the air - and then just when they though it couldn't get any worse... a ramp drops and out rumbles a mob of screaming leather clad orks swinging chains and power klaws.

Have to save that taktic for Aporkalypse. Skullhammer full of bikes. Still amazed that they let the orks have a FAST superheavy made from a baneblade.
