Pinning aside, how do i make resins fit snuggly together?
Unlike current metal or plastic kits, the parts where they are supposed to be attached are not smooth at all.
Infact its where the parts are clipped off from the "frames" .

Did you pin the head?
If you did is the pin to long?
Get the head as close to the body as possible.
Paint the to be joined area.
Press together with the paint still wet.
The wet paint will mark the high points of the join file these down.
Glue the pin to the body.
Do you have green stuff?
Make a green stuff ring around the neck.
Put glue on the pin then press the head in to the green stuff.
With a sculpting tool smooth the join between the head and neck put away till tomorrow till green stuff dries.

with something this size its worth pinning then gluing it, and possibly even cleaning up any gaps with GS.

Thanks JD ( wow you are up early! )

Im just abit paranoid of resin pinning requires drilling
and i heard lots of health hazard regarding enhaling the dust... I already feel weird from smelling plastic cement past months lol. Will try though...
not confident about drilling at all the last time i drilled somehing, it popped out to the side of the mini ( it went in slanted i guess)

The land of cotton.

Resin dust is not particularly toxic, but it is extremely fine and can get down into your lungs and do damage.

Just don't breath the dust and you'll be fine. A particulate filter like people get for pollen and such is more than enough. You don't need a respirator or anything.

Besides, drilling won't create particles that small anyway.

Do you have a pin vice.

Mine is the one next to the files.
If you don't have one that ok but this will not make any dust so no worry's. Just small chips of resin.
The gs will act as both a adhesive and a gap filler with the super holding it till the gs hardens.

As FW is notorious for having models that don't fit together properly (although it's much better than it used to be), it's extremely common to have to use GS to fill gaps in resin models like this.

As opposed to metal or plastic which have a certain amount of elasticity and pliability and can be bent, at room temperature, resin just breaks. It's also a whole lot tougher to cut or drill than either GWs metals or plastics. This makes resin a much more unforgiving medium to work with when trying to do conversions. Pinning's not necessarily hard, but it's harder than it is on a metal or plastic model.

Also, don't forget to thoroughly clean your resin as the mold release agents can really interfere with adhesives!

If slaanesh could see what was occuring in that first picture, he would send in the Daemonettes!

"From the fires of Betrayal unto the blood of revenge we bring the name of Lorgar, the Bearer of the Word, the favored Son of Chaos, all praise be given to him. From those that would not heed we offer praise to those who do, that they might turn their gaze our way and gift us with the Boon of Pain, to turn the Galaxy red with the blood, and feed the hunger of the Gods."

lol, no probs hun, and i didnt sleep XD
to bored to sleep, well, thats my excuse anyways.

if you are drilling resin use a pin vice (less dust) and make sure you have a mask on.

make sure you wash off the mould release aswell with warm soapy water as it will stick 1000x better

and just a note, once superglue stcks 2 pieces of resin together it tends to dry very quickly.

Edit:

1: you make it sound as if im never up early!

2: as for using a pin vice, just make sure its at a good angle so you dont go through the model.
if you do, a small ammount of putty will fix it

As an aside, GS is crap when you try to use it for a long term adhesive. Temporarily it is fine, but if you want the model to stay together long term you definitely need superglue.
