This is my first ever Tyranid List, and i would be much appreciated if you could provide some constructive criticism.I do realize i have very few troops, and could use some help. This doesnt have to be a smash your opponent to crap list mostly for fun.

Might want to remove some of those points cost as those tend to get forums like Dakka in trouble with GW. As for the list, my biggest concern would be that in 66% of your games, 16 dead genestealers and your held to a draw at best. Also, mech armies are going to drive you nuts, some sniper fexes would help with that.

Yes remove all but the total points cost for the unit and that will take care of that issue.
As for the stealers, you may want to add scuttling to them so they can out Flank the opponent and allow them to re-direct fire so that way your big nastys can close in.
Gardeth is right you're going to want at least 1 or 2 sniper-fexs to deal with any kind of armor that you will come across, even at 1500 pts there is going to be armor that will annoy you. Because if he can keep a Land Raider away from your big bugs and just use it to mow over your small ones while sniping at them with heavy weapons, you're going to have a hard time. I know thats kind of a setup to beat it, but I do see more Land Raiders in lists these days, even if it is only one.

You need some small bugs to hold objectives. It would be a waste to have the stealers take on that task. Like Fexor said, give the stealers scuttlers. As your big bugs advance, have the stealers out flank.
Definately get rid of those point values dude!

My thoughts - besides you needing to get rid of the points values on the upgrades and whatnot - are: Genestealers - You are paying an awful lot for each 'stealer, but you are not putting on the most valuable upgrades (Flesh Hooks of Feeder Tendrils): Flesh Hooks are great for when you are assaulting through cover, since otherwise you are wasting your high Initiative a lot of the time. Feeder Tendrils are great because not only do your Stealers reroll to hit, but any Carnifexes or other stealers near them also get the bonus. Toxin Sacs are not really necessary in my opinion, and here's why: -For 3 points you are paying to wound things easier, not a bad thing, but you are putting lots of points into it. -You are paying to glance most Vehicles in CC on a 5. You were previously Penetrating most vehicles on a 6 (6+4 = 10 +d3 for rending is a Penetrate) - This is for most rear armor, but not Land Raiders and equivalents. If you are playing Tau, Eldar, or anyone else with AV10 rear armor then this maybe is a good upgrade, as it can keep them from shooting or moving until the following turn when you can finish them off. So, is Toxin Sacs bad - no. But are they Expensive - Not really. But is a Genestealer with Carapace, Talons, Toxin Sacs, and Tendrils/Hooks expensive - Yes. So my suggestion is, run them in the following way. This way, your Genestealers with Feeder Tendrils can support your big bugs and maybe get cover from them. 8x Genestealers - Carapace, Flesh Hooks - 168 6x Genestealers - Carapace, Feeder Tendrils - 126 6x Genestealers - Carapace, Feeder Tendrils - 126 Also, consider trimming your Carnifexes. I like the idea of a CC Carnifex that can kill Tanks, I kit mine like this: Heavy Fex + Extended Carapace, Bonded Exoskeleton, Reinforced Chitin, 2x Scything Talons + BioPlasma, Adrenal Glands (WS), Adrenal Glands (I), Flesh Hooks, Toxin Sacs 186 Admittedly, they probably have too many Defensive upgrades, and I feel like If you are going to put added WS then you should also include Toxic Miasma to reduce your enemy WS. But I didn't. I don't put Tusked because I figure you may get 1 charge per game before you get stuck in, and I don't like the idea of paying 10 points for 1 extra attack. The reason I don't like Crushing Claws is I don't think that paying for an extra chance to get more attacks is worth it for 25 points, when you can get 3 attacks with your base profile + the Scything Talon in its place. The most you are ever going to get is 3 extra attacks, and the worst is going to be losing 2 attacks. I don't use Tail weapons because you need 4 or more enemies in base contact to get the extra attack. If I was going to use the Tail Weapon, I would use Scythe Tail, as you get 3 power Weapon STR 5 attacks possibly, instead of just 1 STR 10. If you are surrounded by a swarm, d3 attacks at STR5 is probably going to do more wounds than 1 STR 10. **Corrected typo**

By Sniper fex, some people also refer to them as gun fexes that or the devourer fexes are gun fexes, i can't remember, but by Sniper fex in this thread people mean Carnifexes witha Barbed Strangler and a Venom Cannon. No need to up the strength to 10 as it is a waste of points on the large. Implant attacks are essential otherwise, and 1 or 2 units of 8 without number pine gaunts will ensure you always have troops to claim/contest objectives in objective based games.

This way you won't be getting anyone in trouble and your post won't get deleted, you need to do this ASAP. Its in the Dakkadakka forum rules about what is acceptable and what is not. all right i fianally got around to fixing the post, sorr bout that, that list you showed me does look pretty hard to beat,
But i have a hard time taking hooting fexes when the BS is 2-3 at the most, it just doesnt seem like youll be hitting much.
But i have just started nids, so im not real sure

Much better, but you could've left the unit total pts value, since just the total doesn't give what each biomorph cost is just what everything combined is equal to. But anyways, its a moot point and it is better now.
As for the shooting Fex's they're going to be your hinge if you will in making sure that heavy armor doesn't eat you up before you're able to get your smaller (an larger guys) into CC where they do their best work. Not to mention the Barbed Strangler is a Blast weapon, very good against horde armies and such, the Venom Cannon is great against the heavy vehicles, it may not be able to destroy them out right, but keeping them from moving and/or shooting the next turn helps you out considerably.
Besides a Fex with either Scything Talons or Crushing claws normally makes quick work of vehicles in CC. So being able to get them there is the main work for the Venom Cannon and Barbed Strangler, although the BS can take out lighter vehicles which is kind of handy.

you showed me this army and i find it REAlly REALLY good but could you explain to me how good this would work in a game, and its winning rate. please thats not that many shots from the heavy carnifexes it seems would be enough to kill alot, but iguess whatever they hit they will hurt.

remember that you can only have 114pt. carnifexes for elites, and it is a good rule of thumb to try to keep all your carnifexes under that point value. I used to run 5 dakkafexes( Enhanced Senses, 2x TL Devourers) until I played a tournament where all my opponent let me do was chase after him. Then I changed it up to Barbed Stranglers and Scything talons, which is a much better choice in fifth. you have a longer ranged weapon and more attacks in CC. I currently run a broodlord and genestealers in my list, though I intend to get a second tyrant and a bunch of spinegaunts, for ablative wounds and late game objective grabbing. here is the list that I intend to end up with:

You do know about Kill Points right?
you also know the basic Premise behind a Nidzilla list is everything is hardcore insane crazy nuts bonkers awesome right? The mention of 2 units of WoN Spinegaunts in above posts is purely as back up to the stealers getting killed. 60 Gaunts Without number? Lets play kill point missions. Stuff killing the MC's I'll just slaughter the crap out of every one of those recycling gaunts with my fast mech force running circles round the MC's. Lets play Objective missions - I'll kill the 2 Tyrants and have 2/3's of the time those gaunts cowering and not able to capture objectives, then on the last turn focus exclusively on annihilating them all so you can't capture any objectives - not enough synapse in a Nidzilla list to pack 60 gaunts, not enough by far...The Barbed Stranglers are great and all but inaccurate due to the scatter rules. Lots of the same is great and all but not in your list. Solid list, just not flexible enough. Have a read of the list I linked in, pay attention to IMPLANT ATTACKS and the flexibility of the different Carnifexes arrayed. Here you've presented a no-brainer army that will do one or two things well and that's it. Yeah, wow, pie-plate spam. 3 dakka fexes as elite still seem solid as they reliably hit more then the barbed stranglers when dealing with infantry then a strangler fex does.

I'm not explaining the winning rate or how it would work in game, if it's not obvious you need to play more games and learn first hand. BS 3 Venom Cannon's aren't alot of reliable hits but they are str 10 and will stun/shake vehicles that will otherwise destroy the monstrous creatures or genestealers as you close. Have a look through the thread, and it's a Nidzilla list same tactics and workings as any other Nidzilla list except with the 2 units of WoN Gaunts as Objective back ups to bring about a close game win.

I now realize why this carnifex setup is one of the best, i read the carnifex tactica and it helped a lot, CC Carnifexes arent going to get much done, and vehicles put a hurt on nids.Thank you all for the help.

I highly recommend you remove toxin sacs from those genestealers and give them both feeder tendrils.
that will save you a great deal of points.
Also take off implant attack from the carnifex he wont need it.
I'm a bit confused about which list you are actually using to offer better help. So if you could edit it to ur first post or repost your new list that would be great.
I wrote some posts in the tactica section of the forum about how to equip Nids in 5th edition if you need further help.

I'm not defending the 60 WoN gaunts, but heres something to bear in mind:
May is not must- you don't have to recycle WoN gaunts if it would be disadvantageous. Small squads can also start the game in reserve to essentially hide from the fight

Auretious Taak has a point though, although a little harsh on the deliverance of it.
The main reason 'Stealers are taken in place of WoN gaunts, he's completely correct, is because they can work without needing constant Synapse within range to move. They can operate independently very well, while Gaunts will most likely sit there and stare off into space until you bring something back to make them move. This is where the 'Stealers do their magic and if you give them scuttler, than you can bring them on from their side board edge to cause some real panic that will not be unexpected, but hard to deal with unless setup properly to defend against it.
