Only the Most kick arse table top game ever devised period

My brother, a mate and i were playing one night and my brother was down to his last terminator

my mate was spawning his blips from the mearest point and charging down the corridor at him

My brother sat on OW and killed 99 stealers (I gak YOU NOT) before he decided to leave the board...

Now that was a sight to see

Heres another link http://spacehulk.barsoom.cc/

If you ever get the chance to play then do so

In reference to that story i wanted to check my memory (ITS BEEN LIKE 17 YEAR) So i went and checked the maps for the missions (which you can find here http://spacehulk.barsoom.cc/mirrors/shc/ to see if i could find the right one.

It was this mission Mission three: Rescue I am pretty sure we got the cat out and my brother was on the way off the board with his last termi when he decided to turn around and play target practice with the stealers.

The red dot is where he stood shooting and the Purple square is where my mate spawned his blips (had to be purple for stealers )

Some of my buddies got into 40K because of the Tyrannids and Termies from that game. It was also a kick butt computer game. I found my floppies in storage while looking for D&D and 40K stuff to freak out the youngsters I play with. (Some of my first painted Marines are years older than some of the players) My son played more Space Hulk than DOW when I got DOSBox set up to play it..

This may help answer your question.

Now that you want to play it, here is everything you need to play Space Hulk:

2 termie squads (can be variable equipped according to mission, but in general is it one sgt, one heavy flamer, three storm bolters/powerfists)
20-28 genestealers (depending on if you play first or second edition, and if you use the deathwing expansion if playing 1st edition)

Board tiles & other counters needed to play (using the superior second edition graphics)
1st edition rules (Now with added Deathwing expansion)
OR
2nd edition rules
2nd edition missions uses the same 6 missions found in 1st edition, and gives you twelve more (can be used with either edition)

If you like the game enough to play yet another 17 missions, there here is the White Dwarf Missions and the tiles needed to play them found in the zipfile attachment below: (And if you don't shame on you!)

Hope that helps

[edit] Note to mods: The rules and their expansions for first and second edition Space Hulk were made available for free on the specialist games website before it went "poof". But if you feel any of the links may cause problems don't hesitate to remove them. Just list what was removed and why.

I bought a complete set of Genestealer tiles off of eBay the other day. Not the rest of the set, just the tiles and their 3-wide goodness.

I was quite happy with that.
