I just got the email from Amazon Creatures Anathema (the MOnster Manual for Dark Heresy) is shipping.

Given how popular books like the Xenos manual from Black Library were I can see this selling well.

Amazon let me know mine shipped the other day. With all the Space Hulk tiles I've been accumulating, we're almost ready to start.

Good prediction - Fantasy Flight has already sold out according to their website's online store. If Amazon is out as well I'd recommend trying your local game or comic book store (actually I'd still recommend trying them no matter what to be honest). I would imagine another print run is on the way though given the big success.

I saw it at my FLGS over 2 weeks ago.

I've had it for weeks too. Amazon is sloooow with gaming stuff if it's not WotC.

Consider for one moment the plight of those not within North America, like those down in Australia - someone like me - and what happens when one tries to order directly from Fantasy Flight Games.

I did that once, was going to order Purge The Unclean and The Inquisitor's Handbook from them when they first game out. Sadly, FFG only offers UPS for their posting, and the cost of posting was almost as much as the items themselves (it was US$80 something for the books and US$70-ish for the shipping).

So yes, the Creatures Anathema has been out for a while longer than Amazon has been shipping it, but given the inherent discount on the book and the fact that I'm not doubling the price due to shipping, it is worth the wait.

I don't really have any way of running a game and I have none of the sourcebooks (well, none in non pdf form), but a 40k RPG monster manual might just be awesome enough to buy straight up for reading material. I love that kind of thing!

Well I can say that the Dark Heresy books in general are good for 'just' reading material, so I'd pick it up.

I won't see mine for a week or two.

I got it a couple of weeks back, and I'd recommend it thoroughly, full of mucho tasty goodness.

We get stats for Dire Avengers a few Eldar weapons and orks including nobz and some of their gear and weapons--mega armour ahs 16AP on the chest from memory !

I'll answer and questions/post more crap later when I get home if people are after any specific info.
