I was just out in the garage airbrushing some stuff. Still have 32 models to assemble/paint, but as they're for the Gladiator, I'm less concerned about how clean the paintjob goes.

Dunno about Adepticon, but i have my interview at GW on Tuesday, 10 a.m. and I've been asked to bring an army with me.

Which means I have 2 and a smidge days to paint 40 Savage Orc Boyz, 5 Savage Orc Boarboyz, and 3 Shamans to the best of my ability.

Locks-a-mercy!

THOSE WHO ARE WORKING TO A DEADLINE, I SALUTE YOU!

I'm lazy and work's too busy, so I gave up on a display of any kind.

I still have 10 sisters that are about 75% done (highlights and metallics left to go), plus a rhino and 5 seraphim still left to prime and finish =(

I am not confident in my abilities to get them done, to a standard I am happy with... but we'll see!

We still have 2 grinders, X crushers to go (not sure how many, a teammate is painting them).

All in all, fact is that Warhammer 40K has never been as balanced as it is now, and codex releases have never been as interesting as they are now (new units and vehicles and tons of new special rules/strategies each release -- not just the same old crap with a few changes in statlines and points costs).

Do we need objective markers this year? Gotta do them. I still have to decide on a list. That might require more daemons. Perhaps a display base? But that requires knowing what I'm going to play.

I'm not even sure I know how my army works.

Why bother? The selection process might turn out the same as that cunning gaming algorithm I just referenced.
