i am doing that with the female marines jasqulin have using their theme on the armor tough not with good luck i can tell you that and yeah its a good show tough the fans can be a bit to hyped up in my honest opinion

That's because TV these days is absolute gak. They use half naked chicks as a replacement for plot and character development. It's lazy, it's stupid and some of us are fed up with it. If we wanted tits shoved in our face we'd go watch porn. we watch (or used to) TV and movies because they had a plot and character development. MLP is simply the first real show to start reversing this trend and so by comparison, it's absolutely amazing.

I just saved 15% on my auto insurance by switching to Geico! Just kidding, I didn't switch, but my compressor WAS covered under a replacement warranty!!!! Got the new one warming up right now. I had even bought a different, larger compressor, and only when I got it home did I remember my old one was covered. *whew* Saved me some money! Although, I did want that larger compressor.


As for the bust on the Female Tech Preist, I'll have to give that some closer inspection! Bubble, any additional images you can share with me will help. Just kidding. I will work on the sculpt, and just make sure it's what gendoikari87 is looking for.

Now, if you will all excuse me, I have about an hour and a half to get some sculpting done!

Got an old laptop that I could service that would do ya, its from around 2003 so its slightly bulky compared to the slimline models you see nowadays.

You are certainly welcome to it bud, lemme know and I'll start fixing it up.

Oh, and Galorn, you asked about the pressure pot, I bought a paint pressure pot from Harbor Freight, and modified it for casting purposes. Less than $100 total.

Lol you can have it, ill have it up and running by sunday. Now to find the power cord....

@RSJake, if I may ask, how do you mold and cast? What kind of equipment do you need?

And spartan, that is a good question. What you NEED, is a mold making and casting kit, I HIGHLY recommend the one from Smooth-On.

Secondary, and I recommend you do it for a while without this to see exactly why it is neccesary, is a pressure pot. A vacuume chamber can be usefull from what I hear, but not as important as a pressure pot. The pressure pot is spendy if you buy one speciffically for casting. I bought a the paint pressure pot from Harbor freight like I said before, and just converted the fittings for air instead of paint. It only needs to hold pressure up to 40 PSI, so the cheap one works fine.

Also, you need mixing materials, like clear plastic cups, stirring sticks, rubber gloves, and injection syringes.

As for methods, there are LOTS of tutorials online for the procedures of mold making and casting, so I'm not going to go into that part.

Good luck if you are thinking of getting into it. It's fun and rewarding, I highly recommend it!

Good deal on the compressor! Usually that "extended warranty" stuff is worthless, but In this case it paid off! Awesome!

yes i think i said it earlier but i may be forgetfull somtimes but anyway she plays warhammer fantasy dark elfs tough i am trying to get her into wh40k one way or another and maby with the pony model of her character il have some luck

Speaking of which, I could not believe what a difference the pressure pot makes with the clear resin! I did a pour the night the compressor fethed up, so I had to let it cure without pressure. It ended up FILLED with bubbles, and it was very brittle.

I did a second "Clear Orange" pour with the bottles last night, and it came out great. Although I am going to need to make a new mold soon, as this one is breaking down.

I need to take some pics of the current sculpts, they are not much to look at yet, but they are shaping up.

Speaking of sculpting, I still need to add legs and back spines to the "Slug" on the investigator, or whatever Vik called it. But I'll be working on that and the rest tonight.
