My opponents had a combined total of 3600pts. So, I decided to run my Space Marines and Sisters of Battle in a combined sort of Inquisitorial force. The Inquisitor decided to requisition the use of some Imperial Armor for Heavy Support.

We played 5 turns. At the end of the Game, my Inquisitorial force controlled 5 objectives and the Templar/Xenos threat controlled 1 objective.

One highlight from the battle was a fanatical priest who employed a Vortex Grenade. One the first throw, he wiped out half of his own squad. The vortex/warp rift also eliminated a ruined building, a razorback, and scared the Necrons out of their cover in a ruined building nearby.

The rest is pictures . . . (the last of the pictures are in the first reply post)

The rest of the pictures. Unfortunately, I ran out of memory space on my camera, and my cell phone battery died while I was taking pictures.

Thanks guys!

It was a lot of fun all the way around.

That was the first time that I used the Vortex Grenade. It was hilarious. My priest through it right into the middle of his own squad first thing (from the scatter). It sucked some Battle Sisters straight out of the game. Then it went to work every turn. I am thinking about taking one often, maybe all the time. It was too much fun.

Versteckt in den Schatten deines Geistes.

Last time I faced a Vortex grenade I lost a Manticore. That doesn't sound too bad when compared to one of my co-commanders, who lost a Revenant Titan to it.

Scary, scary things.

When I read that, I thought about the sad look on the face of your buddy when the Titan went out.

I love the total carnage and chaotic effect.
