I remember reading the novel Deamon World by Ben Counter (great book BTW!) which featured a cybernetic Khornate greater daemon. I would love to incorporate this type look into my last pack of Bloodletters. Any good suggestions are welcome.

plastic rod and guitar string. the thing you have to think about is do you want augmetic limbs, or just cosmetics like laser eye lens and such. By the by, I read daemon world too, it rocked!

Good god Luna is a friggin LIBRARY of knowledge!
When I played chaos last edition, I made a demon prince that was robotic. Its pretty much been torn apart from using parts on other things but it was pretty damn cool. Something about robotics and demons just fit

You could take a Necron body, glue on some spikes, and green stuff some demonic faces. Viola, demon possessed animate killing machines.

It might not work so well for Khorn but there's no denying it would look awesome.

Could make one like the gynoids from Ghost in the Shell 2, where their insides and faces would open up. Then you could fill them with lots of fun deamonic stuff.

I was thinking of using Necron legs since:

They are robotic in appearance
They are plastic so easy to convert

I am now thinking these conversions would look best on the Bloodletters mounted on the juggernaughts since they have robotic legs as well. I will work on a conversion tomorrow. Thanks for all the suggestions. It is appreciated for sure.

GBF, what about using Sentinel legs for larger demons? I saw someone use them on an Ogryn awhile back (I want to say that Migsula did that, but now I'm thinking I'm wrong) and the model looked really wicked with them.

Man, I wish there was a real Black Library where I could get a Black Library Card and take out Black Library Books without having to buy them. Of course, late fees would be your soul. But it would be worth it. - InquisitorMack

If I knew, I'd tell you.

You're right, put them on juggernauts. But, whatever you do... don't replace the bloodletter heads! Robot legs and arms are cool to use from the necron range, but you should add some skin over the bionics to make it look less like they are replacement limbs and more like steel gifts of Khorne.

I put the first Bloodletter together tonight... two cybernetic lower legs and hooves plus cybernetic shoulders and one cybernetic lower arm. I want to add some cable and finish the base then I'll post up some pix. Looks pretty good to me as I was able to get the look I was after. Lunahound's pix above were extremely helpful!

For anybody who may care; I have built a mechano-thirster from the book daemon world. Anybody who wants to check it out can see it at adepticon this year for the team tournament. Let me know what you think :-)
