I urge y'all to rent Lord of the Rings: Conquest before buying it.

When it came out, I heard it was like Star Wars: Battlefront but in the Middle Earth. Sounds cool.
Picked it up as an impulse on amazon and when I started playing it, realized it was garbage.

Totally flat levels, boring gameplay, not even good as a hack 'n slash. I was literally figuring out some way to cut my losses, like trading in immediately or something. Even the heroes and monsters are boring to use. I ran through the game in one night and quite frankly I'm not even going to bother playing the Multiplayer game.

Fair warning.

I'm sorry you didn't download the demo then.

I downloaded it, played the single player tutorial and then jumped online with it.

Complete, absolute garbage.

Thats why Tolkien and New Line pulled the licensing agreement from EA Games. So no more horrible, LOTR games.

One means the Mechanicum truly loses their gak, and the other means the Eldar realize that Vaul is really a toaster and experience religion fail.

One of our local TV shows reviewed it they gave it a 6 out of 1o and also said that it was very boring, the levels where rather bad and that you first had to play through the "good" side of the campaign to play the "bad"side.I was off the LOTR games after the first one,I hate see a good book put to shame by companies that only wanna make money.
