Subject line really. I am considering picking up a couple of the current IG battleforces before they are replaced with the new kits that won't have Leman Russes in them. Is anyone aware of when the kit turnover will be so I can gauge how much time I have left to shell out the money? Thanks guys.

Well check ebay or other sites for the current sets because GW has pulled both Cadian and Catachan Battleforces from their site (US).

Within the next few weeks I'd say. If you've got a GW near you maybe have a word with the manager to see if they can order in a few from stock. Chances are they'd be happy to clear them out. Any that aren't sold are just going to be sent back to the manufactuer or destroyed*.

*When 3rd changed to 4th in Australia, the unsold 3rd Ed starter boxes were all crushed and put into landfill.

I know a local place that hasn't had any 40k players for years that still has a 3rd edition Cadian battleforce, so I'll try and see if I can get a deal on it since they basically have no GW customers and a few (mostly old Ork buggies) sets left. Unfortunetely there aren't any GW stores anywhere near Monroe Louisiana as far as I can tell.

Can you see if they have an old Ork Trukks?

Yeah I can go back and look. I recall that they had a couple of the older gorkamorka buggies repackaged from before the new codex, they may have had one of the older trukks too. Its basically a small selection that they haven't been able to get rid of because they're really isn't anyone around that plays.

Do they have any of the old IG stuff like Steel Legion?

I doubt it, the extent of their GW range is just enough to sparsely populate the end of a single shelf.
