Anyone else notice that Battlewagon Bits no longer has a bits trade in section?

I did not know that Battlewagon Bits was still around. I thought they were bought out by the WarStore.

Yeah they sold out to the war store a while back, but the war store has done a pretty fair job of keeping up with the selection that battlewagon bits used to have.

Yes they were, but they are still being run by the WarStore. They have their own section on their website. I just heard from Neal that as of right now they are not doing it but will be back up when they decide to do it.

I think they are in the process of reconsidering HOW to do the bitz buys.. they still have the "Sell us your intact boxes and blisters" section..
I called and asked someone (not Neal) about it.. they were doing a bitz overhaul and re-inventory.. their online buy list had not been updated since November.
FWIW.

While they're at it, can they reconisder their prices. Assault Cannons aren't in high demand any more and haven't been since the 5th Ed Nerf and the Marine Codex Ultra-Nerf. Why are they so darned expensive!!!

On the face of it I would agree with HBMC. But when you consider that the market has just been flooded by Black Reach Termies, you can see why termie heavy weapons are back in demand.

The assault cannon still is in high demand, AoBR means all termy weapons and dread arms are in super high demand.

Personally, though I'm fond of The WarStore, I'll never use his "unopened Box/Blister" trade in service.
He only gives 50% credit for it... that is a HUGE markup for him.
If I trade $100 retail in boxes for $50 in credit, presuming I trade for GW stuff, that $50 will get me $60 of GW RRP. For that $60 RRP in items, he paid $33... So, he's getting $100 ($80 at his prices) worth of models for $33.
Wow.
Of course, he's a great guy, who I'm HUGELY fond of... So, I'll definitely be back as a customer!
Go, Neal!
