why doesnt anyone use these for IG rough riders?

When I was considering doing a Vostroyan army awhile back, definitely thought about it using that model for some rough riders.

The only problem with using that miniature is the cost. It looks very nice but a basic plastic horse is much much less expensive.

Just use one as the head of your roughriders. It's an excellent model, and worth using one way or another.

C'mon guys, if you like the model so much why dont you try and sculpt one, its not rocket science, and if it turns out rubbish, at least you'll probably learn something. . I'd be interested in seeing some pics if you do. Now theres a challenge for someone!!!

Buy one model, take it apart, modify the parts so they can a) be assembled in different poses and b) you can claim to have added "considerable artistic input". Then cast copies of it. It takes some work, but could be well worth it. And if you do not sell the new casts to anyone, I really can't see a copyright infringement taking place, at least not by swedish laws.

He's got the idea, although it looks like he painted his face off...lolz

I wouldn't use it because of all the fantasy looking icons on it. Plus its metal so very hard to modify.
