I'm running the league at the local store, and I'm wondering if anybody knows of matching software that would pair people off, while avoiding blue on blue games. If you know of something that's cheap or free, please let me know.

Ive used Overlord, but that is more for 1/2 day tournaments it seems. Its good software though and free to the best of my knowledge, i can give you a link if you want. I'm looking for something that can record long running leagues with several games being played over time etc. Did you find anything?

What about an Excel spreadsheet? GW used to use one for their RTT awhile back. They also sent one out with the RTT package that you bought when you wanted to host a tourney. I got one when I did that RTT at Acme sooooo long ago.

While it isn't designed to necessarily cover the bases you're asking about, but it still functioned similarly. It tracked the date you entered, totaled everything and created pairings. The difference is that it paired the higher total tourney scores, then in descending order.

With a bit of tweaking, though, I'm sure you could set it up to fit your needs.
