Hey everyone, With my days off i've had too much time to be browsing on forgeworld for my own good, but one thig that did strike me is, what does the Macharius Tank count as?
Is it a super heavy tank or just a big version of a Land Raider ?

Cheers
All the best

Not in a codex pretty much = not useable in normal 40k games. But if no one in your group minds, just ask about it and then use it. You can blur the line between regular 40k and Apoc as much as you and your opponent want. It's just a different version of 40k, like cityfight, or the upcoming planetstrike. But ask first, and don't expect to take it to most tournaments.

....and lo!.....The Age of Sigmar came to an end when Saint Veetock and his hamster legions smote the false Sigmar and destroyed the bubbleverse and lead the true believers back to the Old World.

Well i was thinking of asking and altering rules for weapons and armour etc, of the Apoc scale to make the tank some what balanced and fairer on my apponent haha

It is in the Siege of Vraks FW book and the FW rules say that they are usuable in standard 40K games as long as you ask permission from your opponent. It's also in Apocalypse reload, but I don't know if the stats for it are different in Apocalypse games. For example Heirodules in FW Vol 3 have different stats, rules and points cost to Apocalypse books (FW Vol 3 being the only one I own).

The world needs wannabes.

Jervis or one of the WD guys has said in WD that it's fine to use superheavies in regular 40K (with opponets persmission). Gives a different challenge to a game. I say go for it, the hobbies for enjoying, not sticking rigedly to the rules. If we did that we wouldn't have =I=munda!
