Just moved to Portlan, OR from Eugene. Im pretty new to Warhammer 40K but love the concept. I was hoping to find a group / get-togethers to play some games. My Army isn't a cookie cutter and it has a strong bakground. SM DA. Out of the 7 games I played only won once but I enjoy it.

Weekends work best for me and with 2 kids I probably can only fit 1 maybe 2 days/week. Beer is a plus but not needed.

I live out towards to Beaverton area... Do you know where Knightfall Games is?

My army isn't nearly complete yet (Eldar), but there's a bunch of 40k folks who meet at Knightfall every Saturday to play. Hope that's helpful.

I just been up and down TV Highway and not ready to get lost but I'll print out a map to Knightfall and check it out.

If you want to talk about an incomplete army, Im at 1850 points and have 2 hq, 1 elite, 3 infantry, and 3 heavy's on my force orginization chart.

I don't have my list with me, but I have about 3000 pts total, all of it disassembled. I bought it on craigslist and subsequently stripped the paint on all of them and went to work reconstructing them. They'll be glued together again soon. From memory, I think I have 4 hq, 3 elites, 3 troops, gobs of fast attack (got some warp spiders, swooping hawks, eldar jetbikes galore, vyper jetbikes, and shining spears), and about 4 heavy.

The folks at Knightfall Games are cool. The owner will custom order just about anything you want.

Nice, I was looking at 2 Vulnirable dreads (SM DA) from forge world. Unless GW can lower the price on 'em. The way euro is FW is not mor expensive.

Bridge town hobbies is where you want to go we game every Thursday gaming starts at 6pm-9pm.

Guardian games is great and they have tournaments every thursday, bridge town is good also

Ordo Fanaticus is a club in the Portland area but you can join the fourm and not be a member. Lotta local guys, requests are made for games there all the time and there's a good listing of local and not so local tournaments on their forums. Good mix of all types of gamers so should be able to find a good group or shop. Should be a good starting point. HTH.
