Well my MK6 army is coming a long, and I will need to add a dread in a month or two so I think I should give myself plenty of time to acquire one. So what one do you like the most?

The Rogue Trader dread is almost as bad as the "Big hug!" Carnifex.

I was thinking of running option 2 as standard dreads then option 3 as Iron clads. what do you think of that idea?

Well the fact that I have a Chucky in my beekie army won't skew my choice of #1.
But the forge world dread is the bomb.

Number 2 would work great if you were to change the face to not suck as much. I'd remove it altogether. Just add a line for something like a visual sensor or something.

3rd option is also great.

1st is horrific.

Option 3, it seems to fit in with the whole "giant killing machine that everyone fears" rather than "giant killing machine that everyone laughs at because of it's stupid face" (1&2)

The first two kinda remind me of the bare-bones Wraithlord.....

Actually, you could get an Iron Warriors Dreadnaught and file off any chaos stars.

While I'll admit I like the model in Option 2, if given a choice, man go with the FW Dreads - they're just so darn nice. The RT-era dreads on the other hand? Full of the suck.

Option 3, FW dreads are very nice. Although #2 would be neat if you changed the face. I've never seen that version either, and think it'd be a nice stand out piece. But the face would have to be changed...
