After pondering what would make a cool, original Apocalypse vehicle, I've decided on a AC130 Gunship type thing.

It's quite possibly the closest thing mankind has made that resembles the angry fist of god.

Here are my proposed stats.

Twin linked punisher cannons representing the miniguns.

Heavy 20, Strength 5, and AP4.

Twin linked autocannons representing the Bofors ( Now being replaced by the Bushmaster chain gun )

A cannon with the Baneblade's main gun stats representing the 105MM Howitzer.

Ranges would be modified

What do you think? And I need to find a C130 kit to murder up and modify the heck out of.

Sounds like a cool idea, though that thing is going to be huge!

Well going off the new forgeworld pictures, there will be a new Vulture variant with twin linked punisher cannons. I don't know if it has any other armament, but that's pretty close.

With the other cool guns, I see no reason why anyone would EVER use the autocannons. And, considering the blast, something like a strength 7 pie template cannon would work better, and even then, you'd have to have it be heavy 3 to make it worthwhile.

And, it would attract the fire of every single AA gun, other planes, and, well, pretty much everything.

Or you could sit it on your deployment table and say it represents off-board artillery support. however, as the thing is designed to mash unsupported infantry its not really designed to be used in a hostile environment. If you don't have air superiority it gets creamed PDQ.

I'm in Pensacola... -loads up my anti aircraft guns for my heretical guard army- YOUR PROPS ARE MINE

I was going to be doing similar. Two plastic valk kits, extend the body. Using two assault cannons, two auto cannons, and a 36'' demolisher cannon to represent the spooky set up.

Of course to represent the new airborne tactical laser I replace the demolisher cannon with the executioner gun (3x plasma shots ftw)

This would be awsome yep!! Bane Blade or Demolisher type Gun for the side, finished up with assualt cannons where ever you can place them. Nice concept.
