Are Super-Heavy Transports (Such as the Stormlord) only capable of carrying IG, or can they be used to carry other units such as Space Marines?

By the Super Heavy Transport Sizes table in the back of the Apoc book, it gives several examples of units being transported in vehicles of other factions. The examples it gives include Rough Riders in a Thunderhawk and Carnifexes in a Skullhamma. So, I'd feel pretty safe saying that it is both RAW and RAI.

They may carry any friendly unit, also multiple of them if those fit into the transport capacity.
Superheavy transports: to be found in Apoc RB, page 92. (rules). page 198 (sizes of transported models).

We've house ruled it that allied units can go in SH transports, but they should make at least a little bit of sense, or fit the army you're running. Things we said no to:
-Putting genestealers in a plague tower. Sorry, anything without the mark of Nurgle that goes in a plauge tower pretty much dies and turns to goo.
-Putting an ork mechboy with a KFF in your stormlord, when you don't have any other orks in the army. (An orked-out, looted, stormlord in an ork army? go for it.)
-Allowed:
3 carnifexes with control collars, and grot 'prodders', and put them in cages on top of a skullhammer. NP
