Would probably look less confusing when painted - though I love the look of that conversion beamer. Nice work!

I agree. It seems a bit....busy. But after painting it might make more sense. I love his conversion beamer!

Wow, the master of the forge looks like a bits fiesta. It seems to look alright though, maybe when it's painted it will look much better.

Both are really neat! I like the hand on the librarian... like he's doing a 'force' push...

I like the scope coming out of the back pack for aiming purposes and I have never seen som nay scopes used on a single gun. Nice work.

You cant take a conversionbeamer and a servo arm together

-to many points to bother to count.

Interesting, would definately be easier to see with paint.

I've been mulling over in my head how to do this myself.

Thanks for all the relpies. I will be painting him soonish as I still have a bunch to build (I'm doing a company + for Apoc), but I will keep all of this in mind as I paint him. I wondered if he was a bit busy and I did go deep into the bitz box. I wanted him to be intricate enough for a Master of the Forge as the GW techmarines have a very "full" feel. Anyway, I think I can clear that up when I paint by smoothing it out in color placement.

And the servo arm doesn't go, I know, it just didn't read as a techmarine without it. Most of my opponents care more about modelling and painting so as long as I make it clear he has no PW attacks, I'm sure they'll be fine. Besides, I bet he'll get shot up long before CC if I keep zooming him around to use the beamer...

Thanks again. Also, I have a bright red color scheme ala Blood Angels with some white trim. Should I just do him in company colors with black and lots of metal maybe, to show his techmarine'ishness'? I'm not sure about a deep red mixed with my other guys. How have people done blood angel techmarines?

I love the scope on the servo-harness. I can just picture it moving into position.
