Subject: Question regarding the Bombard from Forgeworld.
Could someone that has the model comment on how easy or tough it may be to mount the cannon on a Chimera body instead of the Russ body to make a Colossus out of it?
Hard to tell from the pictures how hard it may be to do and it's a bit on the pricey side to buy one only to find that it won't even remotely fit.
It is going to be hard because what it does is replace the hull of the russ, sinks it down, and then the cannon suspends on braces over the tracks IIRC.

Yeah, it won't work unless you just take the canon and ignore the main hull. The only parts of the Russ the Bombard uses are the tracks and maybe the underside of the hull. Everything else is repolaced and designed to fit with the Russ tracks.
