For the most part, it looks like the paint is applied thinly enough that you can just wash, reprime, and repaint them without stripping.

i have repainted most of my tehriasn, some UNAsome KArmans and some RB...

all can be painted directly without ANY type of priming, however depends on your selection of colors to repaint you amy want to add primer

I would make sure you wash them first. Then prime only if you are drastically changing the color from dark to light.

I have repainted all my UNA, and I found early on that there was no reason to primer them. The factory paint on them now acts as a fine primer.

it latches on to the first idea to come along, good or bad; and it takes strenuous effort with a crowbar to make it let go.

For my Karmans I had put on some Gesso. I didn't want to be bothered with setting up
the spray booth for a repaint.

I didn't bother stripping my Red Blok, but now the new Vallejo paint's wearing off. I'm a bit annoyed about that.

I primed them so my Vallejo's WOULD stick... I also give them two coats of Dullcote to ensure maximum wear resistance.

The ones I've repainted needed no primer.
Good luck, and make sure to post up the results of your work!

I reprimed my arctic camo tac suits to black and then used Vallejo French Mirage blue and Dark Grey green to match with my Damocles camo guys.
