I think it's from the ork deff dread kit.

He's a "Blood Priest" basically a Dark Tech Marine dedicated to Khorne to run as an Aspiring Champion for my World Eaters Havocs:

Thanks for the input. I love when people say they like it but I'm interested why you think it looks cheesy. Any recommendations?

I've never tried converting anything before but with the plastic Grey Knights I thought I'd try to make some Terminators for my Thousand Sons army.

I don't mean cheesy in a bad way. remember, I HATE space marines, I'm an Eldar stuck in a man's body, and i'm Eldar through and through, allthough the Ork Mechaniak peeks out a lot. To me a dreadnaught just begs for conversion and it's so easy to do, that's what makes it cheesy. for instance just now in writing this message a pic of an Ogre kingdoms Ogre Tyrant just popped into my head with the upper half mounted on the dreadnaught legs, and sporting a deff dred close combat claw arm and you have a warboss with cybork body. there's that ork Mechaniak poking around again.

seriously, that dreddeff is good work.
the Khorne techpriest is pretty spot on as well, but you have to do something with the end thingy on his back that attaches to his mechanic tool arm.

Thanks! The Servo-claw thing? Yeah I have to beef it up a bit. And looking at the pictures, I forgot to add spiky bits! So, thanks! I'll work on that, and get it painted!

And BTW, the Deff Dred is great! And as for the 1000 sons Termys, I don't know much about thier fluff, would they be automatons like the marines? Or sorcerers? Just curious. Great paint job!

Dont really care for the look of the marine gunner but everything else is Outstanding looking, the variations in color, details like the ork skull and the three split tentacle. Good work really.

Love the dred as it has many blades and makes me smile and as for the 1000 sons conversion, what did you end up doing with the weapons that came with the Grey Knights?

I used them, I feel like the Halberds and Staff actually fit well with the Thousand Sons egyptian theme. Grey Knights and Thousand Sons are also similar in being mostly composed of Psykers. Since Thousand Sons prize knowledge so much the books on the armour seemed fitting.

LMAO, forgot the spiky bitz, i never even noticed the lack of spiky bitz till you mentioned it, and yeah the servo claw is what i meant, just couldn't think of it's name. after looking a little closer i can see a wire running from the bottom of the servo claw and into the backpack, but it's shadowed so it's hard to make out, and directly behind it's even harder to see. might i suggest that you run a wire from each of the notched areas on the attachment thingy down and into his backpack. make them with enough slack and they can also serve as a place to hang trophy kills as well.
