Well, after doing some serious thinking I hate... In fact loathe the "Red Paint Job" vehicle upgrade for Orks. If anything because my Orks aren't going to be red... However... I recently read that Orks don't necessarily paint their vehicles w/ paint, but rather w/ their enemies leftover blood.

So, does anyone have some nice pics of some gore and how they painted it?

Thanks.

-J.

Forever alone

Drybrush/stipple Red Gore, with a bit of Blood Red over the top to show new stuff. Varnish, and voila!

People are like dice, a certain Frenchman said that. You throw yourself in the direction of your own choosing. People are free because they can do that. Everyone's circumstances are different, but no matter how small the choice, at the very least, you can throw yourself. It's not chance or fate. It's the choice you made.

Not yet but dried blood is reddish brown. Also, I'm gonna go with a red stripe instead of the whole paint job. You could also paint the rims red or something like that. As far as I know, there just has to be red on it. I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

A good mix would be 50/50 Tamiya smoke and Tamiya clear red. You get a transparent dark brownish red. Perfect in my opinion.

Ive met a guy who did indeed paint blood with real blood, mixed with a bit of paint and ink- I think he even as a tutorial as to how to get the mix done on cmon. He varnishes over it when he is done to reduce the biohazard. I dont know why he does it, simmilar effects are possible with mixes of paint and ink only. When I get to a point where I can look it up in my notebook, ill post how I do blood and a pic if I can find one.
