call me crazy, but are there only four torsos? they already shorted everyone on the shocktroopers going from 20 down to 10. this is just adding insult to injury if true.

This is just a guess from me, maybe the sniper 2 pieces are also body?

it's possible, but the box doesn't show them using the sniper to get 5 figures out of it.

That or my 2nd guess ( more probable ) is they dont duplicate same looking pieces on to those photos.

So maybe there are 2 identical torsos. ( same example when we see only 1 arm to go with 5 special weapons )

Description on the GW website specifically says it contains 5 Cadians.

i know if there's not at least 5 torsos, i'm going to be shaking my fist in the air and muttering incoherently!

It specifically states in the new WD that "No8" is x3
So you have your total torso's at 6 in the top right of the picture.

If anybody still cares, there are actually 7 torsos on the sprue.

1x #6 (Officer flak armour with 'gorget' refractor field generator)
1x #7 (Officer dress uniform with medals)
4x #8 (Guardsman flak armour)
1x #9 (Officer dress uniform with 'gorget' refractor field generator)

Again i must warn you the catachan torso are different then cadians.

catachan = belt area is on the lower torso half

cadian = belt area is on top torso.

Combining the 2 will either make it too long or too short unless you want to add some extra work.

What's the deal with that? Even Nob bodies are swap ready for normal boyz legs....

Excellent! I'm glad it has some additional torsos. I didn't want to have to built two Snipers because I had no choice. Now I can put all those spare legs from the 8 billion Guard Vehicle Accessory sprues I have to use.

I kind of implied that from what you were saying... hence my comment. It's still kind of a sketchy way to do things...

The least they could do is make a standardized joint area for the models to allow for a swap that simple without having to trim off more than just flash and pointy annoying hangers-on from the sprue.
