The buzzsaws are made from 3 ork chainswords attached to the spotlight front from an Imperial Guard tank. Glad you like it.
The reason I went for all close combat is that Orks really suck at shooting stuff unless they are massed (i.e. a 30 boy shoota squad) so the chances of hitting anything with a single big shoota are quite low, even if you twin linked it. You could arm it with twin burna's for getting the enemy in cover but personally, faced with a charging close combat monster (and don't forget...it will be running in the shooting phase) I would be moving my troops out of it's way as quickly as possible.
The fact it has 4 close combat arms means it will get 6x S5 attacks when it charges and stands a fair chance of hitting with a WS of 4. Best used to charge into infantry units and tie them up I think allowing your boyz time to get within range or just making your opponent waste his time shooting at them while your boyz mobs close in.

@ JD, so it was you who I saw do that first, which I than ripped off and made my own which one me a modeling contest @ my FLGS. Sorry I ripped it off, but thank you for the idea. Ill have to post up some pics if I ever figure out how to take decent pictures.
@cypher, I like the dreds, and the extra CCW conversions. Honestly I never liked the 4 armed dreds, I agree, I cant see an ork being able to use 4 arms coherently. Nice job, I cant wait to see them painted.

dont apologise to me, i used typical ork logic and saw the idea and snagged it too XD
allthough, the one i copied simply had an ork driver and a few armour plates, nothing else done :(

Yeah, the Dreads were time consuming to build, mostly because I always pin my metal models. Both Dreads and Killa kans suffer from a degree of mis-matching and you need a fairly heavy duty metal file to quickly deal with the parts. I have found that Killa kans are actually getting worse, I think the moulds are faulty as the two halves just do not fit...I have solved this by using a pair of pliers inside the body and opening them up to push the walls out and allow the two halves to match...really annoying though.
