So I would love to play someone on VASSAL using my 1850 setup.... But I haven't the faintest on how to get the blasted thing to work right. If anyone tells me I'll be forever grateful and I'd love to play them.

Vassal is a gaming program that has a 40k mod add-on for it. Alot of people play 40k on it.

I like Vassal because you can make any build. Just need the rulebook and codex. Unless there are no special rules like Necrons . . .
But seriously, it's pretty neat.

Guys, guys, I would call it a Battle Report tool instead of gaming program.
They received their C&D letter from GW, so I'd be weary of what you say.
At least in 40KO, it's taboo to mention Vassal.
I'm not sure here in Dakka though, maybe the rules are more loose here.
I've lost all interest in Vassal40K after I saw the C&D, at least I got enough time on it to settle on what my next army is.

This is a little story about four people named Everybody, Somebody, Anybody, and Nobody.
There was an important job to be done and Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it.
Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it.
Somebody got angry about that because it was Everybody's job.
Everybody thought that Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn't do it.
It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done.
