How does that look? The idea is to Combat Squad the Tacticals, leaving the Lascannons behind to act as ranged support for the advancing Razorbacks, generally taking out enemy vehicles, etc. The MM Bikes are for pinpoint anti-tank, while the Whirlwind is for anti-Horde work. The Termies break the hard targets and the Libby rides with them.
Does that seem competative at all for 1500pts?

Looks pretty good.
Power weapons are pretty redundant. Instead, I'd give the Sergeant melta bombs.
The rest is fine.

Just not enough points to get to the Meltabombs.
Does this look competative?

Charging Wild Rider

Its pretty good. id probably swap the libby for a chaplain. You want the rerolls on the charge, it really helps with combat.
You honestly don't need to give him much if anything he comes with a p weapon and a 4+ inv so you can spend the extra points on those melta bombs. Maybe put the multi melta on the land raider for that one extra shot.

Still not enough for the MM on the LRC, nor for PFists on the Sergeants. Not sure if this would be more or less effective than the first list.

Hmm... are the tactical squads just supposed to be flexible units? It seems odd to have such an expensive heavy weapon in such assaulty (PW+Flamer) squads. Also, meltabombs serve the same purpose as a lascannon but generally require the squad to be mobile. Redundancy can be good sometimes but this is an expensive redundancy. Maybe if you dropped all your lascannons and somehow worked in a Sternguard mini-dev squad?

Oook, I actually WOULDN"T drop the Libby in favor of a Chappy due to the Nullzone being amazing vs. Daemons and Ork KFF (i think Nullzone applies here?). I would throw in some TLC termies in the squads, probably just 2. I like your squads a lot, good firesupport from lascannon squads w/Combat Squads. I would drop the Attackbikes in favor of Landspeeders w/MM's and I would exchange the Whirlwind for a Vindicator if you have the points, if not, then it can stay.

Actually, I do think the Libby may be more useful, especially at my shop. I think ABs are a bit better and cost less, since they are fast, easy to hide, and not reliant on a low AV, but 5 toughness. Just my preference. Sadly, no points for a Vindi, but I figure the WW will do plenty of damage to hordes, which is what it is for.
