Ok, so a few things.

Recently, I've decided to play LATD, using "counts as" daemonhunters allied with "count as" guardsmen (wait for the new 'dex)

Secondly, I'm going to post a re-vamped armylist.

Third, and finally, comes the important question.

What would YOU like to see in my army?

for a long time, I've picked up units which I've liked and thought were good and blah blah blah. But now, I want to have more fun with this army.

So, first question

From the new 'Dex, what kind of tanks do YOU want to see?

Some people play to win, some people play for fun. Me? I play to kill toy soldiers.

If you decide to take an Inquisitor + 2 Mystics as "Counts as" chaos Grubbins, then PlasmaRuss FTW. 5 Plasma Blasts + a Lascannon at anything that DS near ya? Yesh Plz.

But for a general Usage, I would have to say the LRBT is cheap, versatile and can carve up AV12 and infantry alike.

Throwing a psychic choir in as a counts-as warlock coven could be lots of fun to model. Also, if you want to use some counts-as big mutants, then you have a use for the Forgeworld Ogryns.

People are like dice, a certain Frenchman said that. You throw yourself in the direction of your own choosing. People are free because they can do that. Everyone's circumstances are different, but no matter how small the choice, at the very least, you can throw yourself. It's not chance or fate. It's the choice you made.

Not only is the plasma russ (executioner) the most deadly of the tanks - it is probably the most fitting for a LatD army. These russes are by the fluff extremely ancient and very dangerous. I've had a lot of luck with it so far in my traitor guard army, and I think it suits their character and image sufficiently. I have the tank already painted up and am just waiting on the plasma turret to arrive from forgeworld.

(If you want to see the tank you can click the link in my sig and scroll down a ways - Again I'm still waiting on the turret!).

Hmm, some good thoughts here.

So Executioner it is!

@ Cheese Elemental: That's a good idea! I'll get to work on that.

I'd suggest also having a unit of Termies and Dread, count as Chaos Termies & Dread.
