Well, while tinkering with some different bits I had left, I came up with this:

Basically, he's equipped with shoota/rokkit and Big Choppa.

I'm not thrilled with the gold highlights, but I thought the fleshtones and face came out well.

Comments always welcome.

Is that one of the Ogre cannons from Fantasy?

Lots of red applied very appropriately with an excellent conversion.

Yeah, good skin and face. Do you paint your orks with white eyes and a black dot? I go for the glowing red, but yours makes a pleasant change.

The flesh tones do look excellent, however I am not sure about the coloration of the rest of your model. I really can not tell if the whole thing is done in a sepia color or if its just the picture. Have you tried setting your white balance before you took the picture? There is an excellent article on how to do it in the tutorials section.

That cannon has to be orge kingdoms. I never though of using their bits for Orks, well played. I really like the deep red.

I've used many different settings for my camera and they all seem a bit darker. I've tried to post the white background to help out, but to no avail.

I'll search through the P&M and see if I can find that one.

The cannon is from Ogre Kingdoms. The arms are a bit bigger, and needed a small trim, but overall an Ork boss should be able to go toe to toe with an Ogre!

The eyes are a first. Normally it's one big blob, but I got new brushes and was able to have a steady hand

As with anything Orky, you never throw away bits - even if they're cut up from other conversions.

I cut the tails off to make my Nob Biker conversions - in the gallery.

Rocking Back? how about being thrown ten feet through the air?

flying ten feet back? A warboss? no way man. Those things are PURE power. That cannon would barely tickle his arms
