Well well well. Finally blogging them.

Insofar I have a load of nobz, a deffcopta, a scorcha and a battlewagon patially painted, with my warboss and ig bik but a 'bike' and a attack squigg away.
The purpose of this army is a Mek army, not MEQ, but Mek. As such the blacked lootas I have will have a Mek amounst them for fluff value. I'll refine this blog as I continue, but the main reason I start this is for my Mega Mek HQ.

Here are what I plan to deck it out as for 180 points:
35 base, 40 for Mega Armour, 50 for 2* Power Klaw, 10 for Uber Missile, 20 for 4* Rokkit, 15 for Attack Squig, 25 for an aura that makes it able to reroll any Dok's tools within 16". Mega Mek would have BS4 and WS2 as he has spent so much time playing with rokkits that he knows where they goes.

Next comes the iffy part of this model. As we know, every ork HQ allows something to be taken as a troop choice. The debate becomes whether
it would also allow one Big Mek to be taken as troops, 1-3 Big Mek as troops, or 1 Big Mek and 1 lootas squad. Note that it needs to have the mek in there somewhere as he is a leader of MEKs.

Next on my discussion of Mega Mek is the parts I'll need. I'm considering using the spanner boys + a mega armoured Nob + the rokkits bitz pack. Any ideas here?

Further discussion on the rest of my army will be revealed later on.

I thought that the new codex said that Meks allowed you to take Deff dreads and kans as troops, not the 1-3 big meks you mentioned or maybe I didn't understand what you were getting at.

*blushes* The Mega Mek would be a custom HQ. The normal Big Mek takes Deff Dreads as Troops. The Warboss takes Nobz. Gazgull takes meganobz. I thought a super Mek would take something Mek-like as a troop. Basically, I'm proposing up on this blog everything I want to do with my army.

Not only being mek based, this army has a bit of a rock history, the two go hand in hand really. The rockers need the Meks for their stage, the Meks need the rockers to use their stuff. What good is a load of toys without someoine using them?

Nice a Goff rocker, man I wish those still had in-game rules, anyone remember what kind of rules and stats they had?

I'm using him as a Nob. His guitar is a power klaw and big shoota. Don't know if people will vehimently object to that... but *grins* I like him, gonna have to touch him up, but I like him. (Don't have any good model transport yet.)

New ask. Taking an ork army, what for about equal points can kill a Mephiston/Dante BA combo?

The backstory to that is that when they reach that certain age in every ork's life when they pick up a choppa (pretty damn early) they are given a tattooing gun and let loose - most of them rarely stop before they are fully purple. When I get the skill up I plan to freehand in some "un-tatted" areas of skin in green, but my freehand is currently shokking so I keep them plain purp.

Planning on putting up some more soon, so watch this space. That said, I got Deff Skwadron recently and have some plans for the Smartboy (navigator) for things like my bikes, and I hope to base some of my boyz with somehow mek workshop type bases - ideas would be welcome.

This fella is my favourite of the GW squiggs. Especially when he replaced an inquisitorial warrior as counts as. Little fella almost chewed me up.

Two of my snazzguns for my flashgitz unit. I enjoy slicing these up, they're the Nobz combi weapons with added shootas from the boyz box. We'll see how they go visually. In combat... purr.


The three musketeers. I like them and with the pipe-squig playing grot I almost have Shook me all night long.

I still say you need to let me put a sword and a shield on that squig. Most hilarious 'counts as' I've ever seen, and most effective.
