Hey everyone. I plan on starting up a space marine army in the next 365 days or so, and i'll most likely be getting the marines from 2 AOBR sets. My question is thus: How hard will it be to convert the 2 captains into a Librarian and a Master of the Forge? Also, is that legal? or do you ahve to have a captain/chapter master? I'm *alright* with greenstuff, but i'm by no means an expert. If it's going to be near impossible i'll probably go a different route to build my space marine army, but the AOBR concept will give me a 1200 -1400 point army for around $130 with paints and codex and everything (Thats in cadadian dollars btw), which is about half or a third of what i've paid for my tau army of the same size.

A: Sure, why wouldn't it be? I would just by the figs in question, but I'm not that good at GS figure work.

I play tau now, and you have to have a Crisis Suit commander as one of your HQs, and I wasn't sure if you had to have a Chapter master or Captain for Sm similarly.

You do not need a Chapter Master. Some people want one, but it is not manditory. You need one HQ, that being a captain, chaplain, librarian, etc. You need two troop choices, tactical or scout squads. Everything else is optional.
